A Multi-Generational Love for Nature

Our love for this land spans generations. Believe it or not, it all began off the grid. As kids, we had to light the donkey boiler if we wanted a hot bath. You realize the sheer necessity of this sacred ritual around June and July! Talk about bare necessities.

As children, we spent endless days exploring the forest and streams, creating games that sparked our imaginations. When our "City Slicker" friends visited, we were often startled to discover that the life we deemed "normal" was, in fact, a dream for many. It was a life completely free of time restraints, where your inner child could roam free. Recent science exposes the true beauty of the forest on a cellular level.. be sure to leave your device behind before going in!

I have over 50 years of stories to share, filled with adventures and experiences that shaped my love for this place. Some tales are quite hairy, especially those involving daily fitness rides for the horses along the bridal paths and up into the top fields.
